This season I put together a Thanksgiving still life on a shelf in my bookcase. It’s a little collection I’ve gathered over the years. I have two sets of vintage salt and pepper shakers, one with turkeys and one with Native American figures, along with a single pilgrim figurine. I love bringing them together for the holiday. I’ll be spending Thanksgiving here in L.A. with my friends. Tomorrow evening my holiday-decorating buddy is coming over for a Christmas trim extravaganza.
